My one day in Paris was so awesome! I didn’t arrive at my hotel until almost 1pm, but I was still able to see a lot! I used the Metro to get around, so it took a long time to get places (but it sure was cheap!).
*Interesting tidbit* I was riding the Metro down towards city center, and I heard some people talking about New Mexico! They were tourists from Florida, and they were talking about how beautiful NM is and one lady said she subscribes to New Mexico Magazine. I made sure to tell them that I was from NM, and it is definitely beautiful!
My first stop was The Louvre. It was so beautiful. I didn’t even attempt to go inside because the line was a few blocks long. You can walk all around the building though, and through a courtyard type place. I saw the glass pyramids!

From there I just walked along the river all the way to the Eiffel Tower. It was so nice, there were lots of street vendors selling post cards and stuff. I bought postcards with naked ladies and gargoyles on them, because in Paris you can by postcards of naked ladies and gargoyles….
I found a nice lady to take a picture of me at the Eiffel Tower:

Everything in Paris is really cute, even the clouds were extra fluffy and cute today, lol. Here’s a picture of Place du Louvre:

I have to say, there really is something romantic about Paris! There are couples stealing kisses all over the place, and the atmosphere is just…different. This bridge over the river is the sweetest place ever. People write their names or messages to their significant others on locks, and then lock them to the fence! I loved it :)

Also, I got hit on by a Spanish guy and an Indian guy, but no French guys! The Indian guy just liked my henna though…he wouldn’t stop staring at it, lol.
I’m finally back at the hotel now. I can’t wait to be home tomorrow!! See everyone soooooooon! <3
