  • Just an update…

Today I am starting work with a new organization, and I will be teaching English to youth in Sale, Rabat’s “sister city.” The place I was working ended up running out of work for me to do, lol. Really it was because I only speak English, and they need people who can speak French or Arabic fluently. Nevertheless, I am sooo excited to start teaching English! It should be really fun, challenging, and rewarding.

There is yet another music festival this weekend, this time it’s here in Rabat at Chellah (which is pretty much my favorite place in Morocco so far). I am going to that tonight, and taking a boat to Sale this weekend with my host family! I can’t believe I only have about two full weeks left! The time has flown by. Next weekend I might be going to Chefchaouen, which is arguably the most beautiful city in Morocco. Several people have suggested I go there! It takes about five hours by bus, but I might make the trip! My last weekend here I intend to take a day trip to Casablanca, if for nothing else, to buy my Grandma a trinket :) A few of my friends here are going to the Sahara this weekend to ride camels. I’M SO JEALOUS! I already have plans this weekend or I would join them…

Here are a couple more pictures of me being “dressed up” by my host family:
